GKR is delighted to announce that we have achieved BM Trada Certification which means that from April 2026, we are now able to offer a BMTRADA Certified Fire Door installation and maintenance service to our clients.

In line with Fire Safety Legislation and British and European Fire Safety standards, fire door manufacturers have a legal obligation to demonstrate that the fire doors they produce are capable to resist the passage and spread of fire.

Assessed by United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS), BM TRADA is a certification body and Q-Mark fire door manufacturer. The scheme provides additional reassurance (beyond legal requirements), that products are fit for purpose through on-going compliance to the original product specification.

Accordingly, in response to the legislation and, as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous personal development, our operatives have successfully attended fire door installation and maintenance training, and attained BMTRADA certification.
