Client – Marstons PLC

Summary

Following contract award in 2014, GKR Maintenance & Building Co Ltd has carried out the reactive maintenance for Marstons PLC, providing cover for their varied public house portfolio across South Wales & the South West.

GKR were recently called to a site where a vehicle had crashed through the side of the property and that the wall was structurally unsafe. An engineer was on site with 30 minutes of the initial call out, with a second arriving shortly afterwards. The debris was removed and wall made safe whilst the pub kept trading.

Our dedicated contract manager was on site next working day to meet the client surveyor. Remedial works were agreed on site with our bricklaying team commended work the following day.
