Apprenticeships
Working with Construction Skills, and other training services, we are committed to help provide apprenticeships within GKR Maintenance & Building Co. Ltd. An apprenticeship is a great way to combine college teaching with on-site experience, giving you the best of both worlds.
Below you can find more information about some of our employees who were on the apprenticeship scheme.
Matthew Dunn joined us as a Carpenter Apprentice in 1999 and went on to complete his NVQ level 3 and has recently been promoted to team leader.
Adam Betts started his apprenticeship in 2007 and is now a qualified Electricion with EAL Part P and City & Guild 2330 certificates. Having just completed his IEE 17th Edition wiring regulations, he is now working on both domestic & commercial properties doing a variety of works.
Kevin McCarthy began his training in 2005 as a Plumber. In July 2007 he finished his NVQ Level 3 qualification and in January 2011, he went on to complete his NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services (Domestic Plumbing).
